
Our Story
Gio's is a family owned business, everything is made from scratch! Our Clarks Summit location was our first location. We opened Gio's as a way to serve quality pizza with absolute best quality ingredients. Our uncle John DiLeo started making pizza in the same location almost 40 years prior. As children we would go to Donio's and enjoy the food our uncle made for us. Now, years later our family is back in the place that feels like home carrying on the legacy that was started almost 40 years ago. We take this honor seriously and we promise to bring you the best real quality ingredients we can find and will never skimp or purchase items such as pomace oil, margarines, blended oils, always use 100% rapeseed oils in fryers. We buy produce locally, when in season. Our farming family taught us how much the quality of produce matters. We promise to use only extra virgin olive oil for cooking and dressing. We only utilize the highest quality cheese, flour and tomato product available. We make dough with chemical free flours and leaven it naturally for at least 3 days. Gio's is focused on highlighting our American roots through Italian Traditions. We are focused on simplicity, quality, and paying attention to the details.
